The Railway Catholic Church in Nilphamari is the first and oldest Catholic Church in Bangladesh’s northern area. It is 9 kilometers from Syedpur in the Nilphamari district. The church was constructed in 1886 for Anglo-Indian Catholic and Protestant Christians employed on the Syedpur Railway.
